Food Compliance Specialist
Ms. Shilpa Mistry has over 20 years of working experience in the food industry providing food compliance consulting, auditing and training services to the private and government organizations such as CGSB, OMAFRA, Ministry of Health BC.
She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology and several professional courses to keep updated with evolving food processing, regulations and GFSI Standards such as BRCGS, SQF, FSSC 22000 etc. She is an approved BRCGS ATP and SQF auditor.
Prior to starting an independent consulting services; she has worked in the various department of food manufacturing operations such as production, QA, sanitation, HACCP development etc.
Her working experience includes food industries such as bakery, dairy, meat, fish, fruit and vegetable, snack, dry ingredients and confectionery etc.
Her majority of work involves assisting food manufacturing companies in the development, implementation and maintenance of food safety and quality programs certification such as HACCP, QMP, ECCP, GFSI programs etc. She led employees with the example, explanation and thorough understanding and this attribute encourages employees and management to comply with food safety and quality standards and regulations. With her, the clients feel a sense of comfort and that they are taken care of.
She has over 10 years of working experienced as a Food Safety and Quality Auditor. She was a GMA-SAFE, HACCP Advantage and Provincial Meat Plant Auditor. She also provides GAP Analysis, internal audits and SQF auditing services within North America.
She is also an approved HACCP trainer for the “International HACCP Alliance”. She has also developed training manuals and trained specific target groups on programs tailored to their needs. Her training style involves people participation through exercises and group discussions pertinent to the participants’ actual work environment to assist them in understanding how the theory relates back to their daily work routine.

Ms. Ravneet Bhullar holds a master’s degree in Life Sciences and bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology. She has post-graduation diploma in Biotechnology and Food Science.
Ms. Ravneet Bhullar has over 5 years of working experience in the food industry in developing and monitoring of food compliance programs such as HACCP and GFSI.
