HISTORY

2003

Ms. Shilpa Mistry started independent food safety consulting and training services to the food manufacturer in the GTA. Her vision is to help food manufacturer in educating and training in safe food handling practices and meeting Health Canada and CFIA requirements.

2005

Ms. Shilpa Mistry created an incorporation and started providing services under company named “Quality Food Safety Consulting” in the North America.

2005-2007

Ms. Shilpa Mistry auditing services was contracted by the North American organizations for GMA-SAFE Audits.

2008-2010

The “Quality Food Safety Consulting” was awarded to provide HACCP Advantage Auditing services on behalf of the Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB) & Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA).

2009-2011

The “Quality Food Safety Consulting” was awarded to provide Provincial Meat Plant Audit services on behalf of the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA).

2014

The “Quality Food Safety Consulting” became an approved HACCP training provider by the “International HACCP Alliance”.

2015

Ms. Shilpa Mistry auditing services was contracted by the North American organizations for SQF Audits.

Ms. Shilpa Mistry became an approved training partner (ATP) by the BRCGS for providing training services in the courses such as BRCGS, Product Safety Hazard and Risk Management etc.  

2015-2016

The “Quality Food Safety Consulting” was awarded a contract for Development tools and training materials to assist food processor with preparation of food safety plans and sanitation plans by Ministry of Health, BC.  

2020

The “Quality Food Safety Consulting” continue to provide services to the food industry in various areas such as coaching, auditing, training, labeling etc.
